Did you know that one of the top preventable causes of death is massive bleeding?  Do you know the average response time of first responders?  Sometimes help cannot get there in time, so it is up to you to take care of yourself and your loved ones.  The Stop the Bleed course will give you the basics of stopping life-threatening hemorrhage before first responders can arrive.  We believe that every adult should be trained to stop the bleed, which is why we offer this course for only $1 for public courses and will come to any group of 6-12 in AZ for free if you call and schedule with us.

 

The course will cover the following topics: 

• Recognizing and assessing bleeding injuries

• Scene safety

• Proper equipment and building trauma kits

• Tourniquet application to yourself

• Tourniquet application to others

• Wound packing

• Use of chest seals
